It all started 20 years ago in a kindergarten classroom when two kids named Jonathan and Maxwell, who messed around a little too much, became friends. As we grew older, we channeled that energy into ambition and found our direction along the way. In high school, we remained good friends and often talked about ideas we had to become successful in our future, Jonathan had started working for a landscaping company during the summer season off of school and when telling Maxwell about the projects, we decided we needed a job where we could spend the day outside. The following summer after graduating high school, Maxwell started at the same landscaping company, and we worked together every day as a team. We would talk about building our own landscaping company so we could put our perfectionism and good ideas to use. When the summer ended, we went our separate directions, Maxwell left to serve in the United States Marine Corps, while Jonathan went to college for cybersecurity and continued to landscape every summer. After four years had passed, Jonathan graduated college, Maxwell finished his enlistment in the USMC, and we were going to landscape together for one last summer before we moved on to other jobs. Talking about starting our own company continued, but plans changed, we decided to turn talk into reality, and SK Landscapes was created. We are so excited to do what we love and put our ambition and experience to work for our customers!
